Whether this is your first custom home building project or you want to avoid a negative experience you many have had on a previous build. Hancock Building Consultants will put your best interests first, offering you unbiased advice and proven industry insight.

In order to meet the individual needs of our customers we offer multiple levels of service from which to choose from.

To get started working with Hancock Building Consultants you will set up an online payment method with us, offering a convenient and secure way to pay for services we provide.  This offers you flexibility and a hassle-free way to manage payments . We currently will be accepting Venmo, ApplePay and Zelle as our preferred method of efficient and secure payment processing.

LEVEL ONE

Our first level of consulting services focuses on answering your basic home building questions before you embark on your home building journey. We want to be a trusted resource in your corner to provide you with open and honest answers to your questions, so you are armed with insightful knowledge before you even select your home builder. From questions about blueprints and inspections to building permits, construction loans, and closing costs, Hancock building consultants will give you the peace of mind of knowing what to expect before you get started. Rates for level one consulting services are built at $200 per hour with an option to break the hourly fee into quarterly hourly payments after an initial one hour session.

LEVEL TWO

If you’ve gotten all of your basic questions about your build job answered and your ready to move forward, our Level Two “Get Started” consulting package can be your next step. This pre-priced package offers you thirty hours of expert guidance, advice, reviews and suggestions.

Hancock Building Consultants will be a valuable asset in providing you resources for blueprints, engineering of plans, construction loans, mortgage loans and more. We review your floor plans and estimates and guide you in the right direction to get your custom home project off to a strong start. In many cases past experiences working with these partners is so valuable, being able to recommend the best firms for you to consider based on the unique specifications of your new custom homes. Actual costs for securing the professional services of architects, building engineers, etc., are not included in this pre-priced consulting package. 

If you are undecided about the type of builder or actual builder from which to choose from, we can help you to learn what to look for in a builders quality, pricing, creativity, and reputation as a means to help you come to an educated decision. While we cannot guarantee the claims or promises made by specific firms, you may consider, our goal at Hancock Building Consultants is to provide you with unbiased advice and insight and selecting partners that most closely match you and your families, personal and individual home building expectations.

LEVEL THREE

After meeting Karl Hancock and working with him through our first and/or second levels of consultation, you may very well realize that he is the type of builder you trust to build the home of your dreams. Our level three consulting package is actually Karl’s home building company, the Hill Country Builder as builder of record. The Hill Country Builder will provide a budget to build your home on a “Cost Plus” basis and is limited to a certain radius for specific build sites.
